どうも！まだまだ元気な、yuichironyjpです。今日のトピックは旅行。旅行のお供といえば、ガイドブックですが、それは一昔前の話。昔はガイドブック片手に、観光地を散策したり、地図代わりに利用したりという光景をよく目にしましたが、今はペーパレス化が進み、PDFでダウンロードして携帯するのが主流。ガイドブックの他にも、旅行を快適にしてくれるものとしてアプリケーションをダウンロードする人も多いのではないでしょうか？只、スマートフォン、タブレットのメモリが少量なので、なるべくダウンロードは必要最低限に収めたいのが正直なところ。世界一周をしている私にしてみれば、アプリは①使用頻度が高く、かつ②ウェブでは使えないだけに限定しています。例えば、FacebookやSkyscannaerは確かに利用はしますが、毎日見る訳ではなく、別にアプリがなくてもウェブで閲覧できるの=ダウンロードはしないようにしています。そこで、世界一周旅行中の私が勧める、ダウンロードすべきおすすめアプリを紹介していきます。

Hello! Today’s topic is travelling. Speaking of accompany of travelling is guidebook but this is in the past. A long time ago, people travelled with them to go around or just see the map but now we bring them as a pdf with your tablet or smartphone for paperless. The other stuff which help your travel to be better is application, but not many people has big memory for that so we need to download minimum amap. For me, I only download most-used or the one you can’t see on website. For example, Facebook or Skyscanner is often used but I can see that on website=no need to download. Anyway, I will tell you the app you have to download.

１.おすすめアプリ①『Maps.me』

Maps.meというアプリを聞いたことはありますか？これは、おすすめではなく旅行者ならダウンロードしなければいけないアプリ。地図アプリとしては、Google mapが有名ですが、オフラインでは使えず、滞在国によってはそもそも利用すら禁止されていることもあります。それを全てカバーしてくれるのが、このアプリ。事前に滞在先の地図をダウンロードして使うタイプで、オフラインでも地図の閲覧、電車や徒歩・バスなどでのアクセスの検索、GPSなどが使える優れもの。ネット環境が不安なアジアや、アフリカなどでは特に大活躍。

Have you ever heard the app “Maps.me”? This is not only my suggestion but also you have to download if you are a traveller. As a map app, google map is the most popular but they don’t allow us to use offline and we can’t use that in some countries. This is the app covering all of them . We can use GPS location, search a route by train, bus and foot or just look a map by downloading your visiting city or town map in advance. It is very useful in asia or africa which internet does’t work well.

２.おすすめアプリ②『Whatsapp』

日本で無料電話、チャットアプリといえば、LINEですが、中国のwechatと一緒でその国の人だけが使うアプリみたいなもの。旅先で出会った外国人にLINE交換しようって言っても、なにそれって言われてしまいます。しかし、WhatsAppは世界中の人が使う、チャットアプリ。航空会社やレストランなど、WhatsAppで予約、問い合わせができることも多く、社会的に認められたアプリで、利用頻度が高いので、ダウンロードしておいた方がいいアプリの１つ。WhatsAppでチャット、データのやり取り、電話、ビデオチャット、GPSで居場所の交換が可能。

LINE app is the most popular to chat and free call in japan but this is the app you can use only in that country like wechat in china. So I can recommend “whatsapp”, which is the most worldwide app and some of airlines and restaurants etc offer you to contact or reserve with them through this app. Chatting, sending and recieving date, calling, video chat and so on is available.

３.おすすめアプリ③『Google translator』

最後は、Google translator。無料で使えるアプリで、事前に利用したい言語をダウンロードしておくとオフラインでも利用できる優れもの。オンラインでは、実際に話しかけて使う機能もあります。場所や年代によって、英語を話せないこともあるので、滞在先の母国語をダウンロードしておけば、旅先で道を聞きたいとき、友達を作りたいときなど会話がスムーズになり、気持ちよく旅行することができます。

Last one seems common but google translato. It’s free and you can use this offline by downloading the language you need in advance. In online, voice translating is also possible. Sometimes people there can’t speak english because of the destination or generation , so just download their language before to make you feel comfortable.
