みなさん、お久しぶりです。ブラジルの食文化と言えば、何を思い浮かべますか？ブラジル=体が大きい人が多いので、何となく大食いなのかな~とイメージしている方も多いと思いますが、今日はブラジルの食について、レポートしていきたいと思います。

Hello how are you doing? What do you imagine about food in brazil? You may think they eat a lot because they are huge body, that’s true somehow and today I will talk about food in brazil.

ブラジルは、日本と同様、お米を食べるお国柄で、レストランや屋台でもよくお米が登場します。タイ米と違い、そこまで乾燥しておらず、日本のお米と、タイ米のちょうど中間ぐらい。お米は、白米で出てくることもあれば、ガーリックや少し味がついた状態ででてくることもあります。

People here eat rice like japanese do and you can find rice in restaurant etc. Rice here is not like thailand rice, it’s not so dry and really like between thailand one and japanese one. You cn eat rice itself but sometimes it tastes with garlic or some spices in a restaurant.

ブラジルの一般的なランチは、一皿盛り。一つの皿に、数種類のおかずとお米、そして豆が盛られているのがブラジル流。価格も日本円で約２００~３００円と安いのが特徴。

This is very typical lunch in brazil. In one plate there are rice, meat, vegetabl, pasta and beans. The price is about 2-3USD , quite cheap for making you enough for lunch.

ブラジルでは、バイキング形式のレストランを見つけるのがとても難しいです。ブラジル人いわく、ブラジル人はよく食べるのでバイキングにするとお店がつぶれてしまうとのこと。なので、グラムで計り売りしているレストランが主流。

In brazil it’s very difficult to find buffet style restaurant because they eat a lot so that the restaurant can’t make money from that. But they offer you to pay per grams.

日系ブラジル人が多く居住していることもあり、日本のカップラーメンやお米を町中で見つけることができます。すき屋もその一つ。サンパウロやリオデジャネイロなど大都市では、日本の味を感じることができます。

There are many japanese-brazilian people lives here so you can find japanese cup noodles and rice. SUKIYA restaurant is also here. You can feel japanese taste in a big city like sap paulo, rio de janeiro etc.

ブラジルの、気軽に食べれるスナックと言えば。コロッケ。ジャガイモをペースト上にしたものの中に、牛肉や鶏肉、ソーセージなどを入れて、油であげたもの。日本で言う、コンビニで買える揚げ物で、小腹が空いたときによく食べます。

They eat croquette as a snack whihch rolled with beaf, pork or sausage by potato pastes. People often eat that when you feel appetite a bit.

ブラジル人のスイーツと言えば、アサイアイスクリーム。アサイアイスクリームに砂糖菓子やスナック菓子をトッピングして食べるます。食べると下が紫色になるので、子供達がきゃっきゃと騒いでいるのが印象的。

You know a sweets which they love most ? It’s Acai icecream. They eat that with sugar sweets, sauce and so on. You can see kids are laughing each other because your tongue becomes purple after eating 😉
