1.新型コロナに関するテストの種類 Types of tests for the covid-19

新型コロナの検査は、現在新型コロナに感染しているかどうかを調べる、PCR検査と抗原検査、そして過去に感染していたかどうか調べる抗体検査の三種類あります。

There are three types of tests for the covid-19: PCR and antigen tests to see if you are currently infected with the covid-19, and antibody tests to see if you have been infected in the past.

2.PCR検査 PCR test

PCR検査は、ウイルスがたくさんいる喉、鼻、唾液から検体を採取し、検体に含まれるウイルスのDNAを増やし、現在新型コロナに感染しているかどうか調べる検査方法です。

The PCR test is a test method in which a sample is collected from the throat, nose, and saliva, which are rich in virus, and the DNA of the virus contained in the sample is increased to check whether the sample is currently infected with the covid-19.

3.抗原検査 Antigen test

抗原検査は、新型コロナの抗体を用い、採取した血液から抗原と結合するかどうかで新型コロナに感染しているか調べる方法で、PCRに比べ短時間で結果がわかるももの、精度が若干落ちてしまうのが難点。

The antigen test is a method that uses an antibody of the covid-19 to check whether the blood is infected with the covid-19 by checking whether it binds to the antigen. Although the result can be obtained in a shorter time than PCR, the accuracy is slightly lower. The difficulty is that it is stored.

4.抗体検査 Antibody test

最後に紹介するのが、過去に新型コロナに感染していたかどうかしらべる抗体検査。使用するキットにもよりますが、通常IgG抗体（感染後、約２週間後に出現）と、IgM抗体（感染して、約１週間後に出現）を調べることができます。IgG抗体、IgM抗体共に陽性の場合、感染しており回復途中、IgG抗体、IgM抗体共に陰性の場合、現在過去共に感染歴がない（今後感染する可能性あり）、IgG抗体が陰性、IgM抗体が陽性の場合、感染初期のため他の人に移さないため特に注意が必要。IgG抗体が陽性、IgM抗体が陰性の場合、過去３、４週間以上前に感染歴があり、他人に移す可能性は低いと言われています。

Lastly, I would like to introduce an antibody test to check if you have been infected with the covid-19 in the past. Depending on the kit used, IgG antibodies (appearing about 2 weeks after infection) and IgM antibodies (appearing about 1 week after infection) can usually be examined. If both IgG antibody and IgM antibody are positive, it is infected and is recovering. If both IgG antibody and IgM antibody are negative, there is no history of infection in the past (may be infected in the future), IgG antibody is negative, IgM antibody. If is positive, special care is required because it is in the early stages of infection and will not be transferred to other people. If IgG antibody is positive and IgM antibody is negative, it is said that there is a history of infection more than 3 or 4 weeks ago and it is unlikely to be transferred to another person.
